ZSL SATURDAY WRAP ( WEEK 29)

It was a day in which Forest Rangers midfielder Austin Muwowo scored a hatrick against his former team Kitwe United as Zanaco seem back on track after getting an away win against Power Dynamos.

POWER DYNAMOS 1-2 ZANACO

Power Dynamos haven’t beaten Zanaco in the ZSL since 2016 and the Kitwe Giants failed again as a brace from Ernest Mbewe gave all three points to Zanaco who move to 50 points while Power are in 6th on 48 points.

GREEN EAGLES 0-0 RED ARROWS

Green Eagles last beat Red Arrows in 2014 and they again found the Airmen too difficult to beat as the two teams draw with Eagles now 11 matches unbeaten while Arrows have not conceded in their last three matches.

The draw means Eagles stay 3rd on 54 points while Arrows are in 13th place on 35 points.

BUILDCON 1-0 KYSA

A goal from midfielder Lameck Silwaba was all that BUILDCON needed against a tricky KYSA side in a match that saw former Zanaco striker Moses Phiri mark his debut for the Ndola based giants.

The win puts Buildcon in 7th place on 46 points and just four points outside the top 4 while KYSA are in 18th on 22 points.

LUSAKA DYNAMOS 3-1 NAKAMBALA LEOPARDS

A reenergised LD side which welcomed back top scorer Chrispin Mugalu managed to beat NAKAMBALA Leopards with a brace from Conlyde Luchanga and a goal from Mugalu as Leopards scored their only goal through Jacob Mupeta who had just joined them from LD before the July transfer window closed.

The win puts LD in 9th place on 42 points while Leopards are in 14th on 33 points.

FOREST RANGERS 3-1 KITWE UNITED

Forest now move to 11th place on 39 points while Kitwe United are in 12th on 36 points.

NATIONAL ASSEMBLY 0-1 GREEN BUFFALO’S

A Chipili Mungule goal was all Buffalo’s needed to get a win as they stay in second place on 62 points while Assembly are under serious threat of slipping as they are in 15th place on 29 points.
