NLO CEO Applauds Sterling Bank Nigeria On Success of Division One Play-Off
Aftermath of the just concluded Nigeria Nationwide Division one Play off, Chief Executive Officer Of Nlo, Olushola Okunnawo believes the promotion/relegation play off of its league, into Nigeria National League was a remarkable achievement, as such he heaped praises on Sterling Bank Nigeria for the valuable support given to NLO during the event.

“We played our promotion and relegation play off into NNL, It was just the finishing aspect of NLO Division one.
“The play-off is for the top teams to battle themselves, and determine the 8 Clubs from NLO that will be promoted to professional level, Nigeria National League. So the bottom placed teams in the 16 Group will play against each other and the losers be relegated to Divisions Two Cader of the NLO” he explained.
Ogunnawo attributed some of the success of the event to contribution of Sterling Bank Nigeria, which also promised more support hence.
“It was a Good Success as we had the support from Sterling Bank Nigeria by powering the event with a Little Succor. Not only that, but also Kitted the 30 Clubs that participated in the event, and that ignited happiness in the teams.
“Sterling Bank Nigeria expressed Satisfaction as the Mileage was more than what they thought NLO could give, given by the Token from the Bank.
“The Regional managers were present at those venue where the play off took place, and they will Formalize their reports to the headquarters of Sterling Bank Nigeria which will allow them to do more subsequently for NLO,” Shola told maxinews24.com.
The Nigeria Nationwide League One Play-off came to an end on Monday 10th of September 2018, having been played in Ilorin, Jos, Makurdi, and Oba In Anambra State.
