Plateau United captured Babawo,Usman and Wassa

Plateau United new technical adviser Abdul Maikaba has been busy in recent weeks, with United signing of Niger Tornadoes Ibrahim Babawo, Bashir Usman and left-back Gabriel Wassa.

The trios are yet to be unveiled as Plateau United player; however, the deal is done, with the Jos based team.

The trios completed their contract papers immediately after the team afternoon training session after agreeing on a three-year deal with the Jos.

Bashir Usman has a vital role in just concluded NPFL season in the colours Niger Tornadoes.

In the 2016/2017 campaign for Niger Tornadoes, Ibrahim Babawo scored 4 goals and assisted 7 times. He made 26 appearances in all competitions.

Ibrahim Babawo is the club leading goal scorer, also one of the league’s most sorted attacking forward with most goal assist for four consecutive seasons in the NPFL.

He was voted man of the match against the current league holders Lobi Stars and against FC Ifeanyi Ubah where he scored the winning goal in Nnewi to give the Ikon Allah boys their second away victory in the just-concluded season.
