Nigeria sensation, Victor Osimhen suffered a groin injury as his French Side, Lille beat Bordeaux 3-0 in a French Ligue One clash on Saturday evening.
The 20-year old who won the French Ligue One Player Of the month award for September was forced off with a groin injury in the first half of the encounter.
Benjamin Andre opened the scoring in the 22nd minute to make it his first goal for the French Side.
Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen was brought off, in the 58th minute due to his musclar injury and was replaced by Loic Remy.
Laurent Koscienly hacked down Mehmet Celik in the 59th minute to hand Lille a penalty, which Yusuf Yazici calmly slotted home to make it 2-0.
French striker, Loic Remy scored with a superb strike in the 90th minute to seal the win for Lille.
“José Fonte came out at half-time, he had a problem with his thigh that turned into contracture, Victor Osimhen has a pain in the abductor, and it can be a problem.” Lille Coach said.
