The management of CAF Cup 2019/2020 hopefuls and seven time Nigeria league champions, Rangers International F.C ably led by Prince Davidson Owumi is in prayers for the quick recovery of M.F.M F.C attacking sensation, Michael Mbonu over his broken arm.
General Manager of the Enugu side, Davidson Owumi in an exclusive chat, Tuesday said that the entire management and staff were saddened by the incidence which happened in the dying moments of the 0-1 loss to the Lagos side which happened at Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium in a match day 3 NPFL 2019/2020 fixture.
“It is quite painful to have a quality talent like Mbonu suffer such an accident on the field of play. It is our prayers that he recovers quickly from the injury and get back on the pitch to do what he knows best at doing,” said the former NPL boss.
Michael Mbonu was a 79th minute substitute for Adeniji Adewole in the ‘Olukoya Boys’ second win on the road but suffered a broken arm after landing awkwardly in the dying moments of the match.
He is receiving treatment at the National Orthopedic Hospital, Enugu.
