Heartland technical adviser coach Fidelis Ilechukwu says, “my boys deserve to win ” they are more tactical and aggressive with the ball, though it was not so easy my boys were well determined with the ball, they also see it as an opportunity to change their positions on the league table”
I am not too impressed as a coach, have seen many lapses and mistakes, more works and corrections need to be put in place ahead of our next home match. The next home match is with KANO pillars, which means will need to work header in order to secure our maximum points
Though there is no much pressure on the team, I see everything as challenges and wake up calls.
If my team can end unbeaten runs of plateau united, God will surely help us to beat Kano pillars at home, Kano pillars is a bigger team no doubt about that, I respect their enthusiasm and structures, but in football until 90 minutes, no one can tell, as for my team, we will put all necessary measure in place, to get our 3points technically, so help us, God.
I thank all Heartland supporters both home and abroad for believing in us, we strongly appreciate their prayers day and night, we promise never to let them down
In addition, I Congratulate Nigeria professional football league, the League management company, Nigeria Referees association etc, for providing a template to better our league system in terms of officiating and discipline that gives different league system.
It has eventually improved our league, gives more confidence and moral to showcase energy’s at every league centres, once their safety is surely guaranteed and secure
This will make our league system develop faster, more competitive with other leagues in the world and also bring investor’s to the league
I appeal to the league management to continue a good job and make Nigeria league proud again
