South African Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that the contract for the Nigerian national, Daniel Akpeyi has been extended for 2 years.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper who has been on the starting XI in recent games will be on Chiefs skipper until 2022.
The former Warri Wolves save hands made 16 appearances on PSL games and 2 appearances on the Telkom Knockout competition in the 2019/2020 season.
“We are pleased to announce that goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, who joined Chiefs in January 2019 has earned himself a two-year contract extension to June 2022,” Chiefs announced.
