Rwanda President Paul Kagame has met with CAF President Ahmad and African football legend Samuel Eto’o to discuss the possibility of hosting the CAF Champions League final at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali in May this year.
As reported earlier, Confederation of Africa of football is proposing a one legged final for this year’s final and a venue has yet to be pick for this year’s final.
Egypt’s Al Ahly SC is the most successful club in the competition’s history, having won the tournament eight times. Egyptian clubs have accumulated the highest number of victories, winning the title 14 times.
Espérance de Tunis were declared champions after second leg was abandoned.
