The entire institution of FC ONE ROCKET played host to SunTrust Bank, the official Bank of the team during the opening training session of the week, today, at the football pitch of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Complex, Uyo.
The SunTrust Bank contingent, led by their Business Manager, Mr. Nsikak Tom, visited FC ONE ROCKET, with words of encouragement, a set of training apparels, and a pledge of loyalty to support the team every inch of the way, financially.
The donations from SunTrust Bank, represent the unwritten Corporate Social Responsibilities attached to ethically founded business establishments in any environment, as well as, demonstrating the goodwill of partnership beyond the “bank-customer” relationship.
According to Mr. Tom, “SunTrust Bank proudly flaunts the ability of financial support to FC ONE ROCKET, whilst urging doubting Thomases to try the bank”.
The General Manager of the Indomitable Ambassadors, Comrade Ubong Essien, thanked the official Bank of the team (SunTrust) for appreciating the business relationship.
The players, inspired by the pragmatic Coach Emmanuel King, but, speaking through Skipper Odiong Bassey, applauded SunTrust Bank for the gesture and promised to be worthy and successful ambassadors of the financial institution.
The President of the Indomitable Empire, Rt. Hon. Nse Essien, who was flanked by a flurry of football stakeholders during the visit, reiterated his vision of taking football to the ROCKET level, upon appreciating SunTrust Bank for acknowledging his dream and business partnership. The quintessential lawmaker, recently brought officials of renowned football clubs in Portugal, led by Mr. Pedro Albuquerque, Head, FC Porto International.
FC ONE ROCKET of Abat, Onna, Akwa Ibom State who also have affiliations with Hensek Integrated Services, Zenith Bank will be playing in the Nigeria NationWide Division One come the commencement of the league, by March 26, 2020.
