Former super Falcons captain Desire Ugochi Okparanozi is not ruling out on a return to Nigeria Women Premier League. The super Falcons striker will be leaving French women’s top division side Guingamp as her contract expires in June.
The cancellation of the remaining games in French league due to the novel Covid 19 pandemic has brought an end to her six years long career with the French side.
Speaking with news men on her next destination, the former Atasehir Belediyespor of Turkey striker stated that she has offers from different clubs around the globe but she is yet to make her final decision.
“All options are on the table, I would put it that way. But I will disclose where I will be playing next when the right time comes”. She said.
The former Delta Queen striker did not hide her feelings when she was asked if a return to Nigeria Women Premier League is possible.
” Possibly, that as well is on the table. Nigeria League is one of the strongest, I would say because it is physical. But the only thing we lack is representation and quality facilities”. She said.
She added that if she receives offer from any club in Nigeria and it aligns with her that it would be considered.
“If I have an offer and it aligns with what I want, why not, I would consider it. I started there you know” . She said.
The 26 year old striker joined Guingamp following a short spell at Turkish women’s top flight side Atasehir Belediyespor in 2014.
