Serie A giants SSC Napoli have confirmed the arrival of Nigerian International Victor Osimhen from French championat side LOSC Lille for €51 Million and plus addons which could get to €81 Million, Felele247.com.ng understands.
Both LOSC Lille and SSC Napoli are been negotiating for the past one month over the transfer transaction of former U17 and Charleroi forward.
The official arrival of the forward was released via the club website which reads
Victor Osimhen was born in Lagos, Nigeria on December 29, 1998.
Raised in the youth clubs of the “Strikers Academy” in Lagos, he became a professional when he moved to Wolfsburg when he was an adult. In Germany he played in the 2017/18 season and then spent the following year at Charleroi. He plays 36 games in the Belgian team, scoring 20 seasonal goals.
His experience continued at Lille in 2019/20 where he collected 38 appearances and 18 goals.
Osimhen is a Nigerian national. With the Under 17 he conquered the World Cup in 2015 in which he distinguished himself by graduating top scorer with 10 goals. In the senior national team he made his debut in June 2017 and with Nigeria so far he has 10 appearances and 4 goals.
Osimhen is now the highest paid transfered Nigerian player.
