After winning 9 matches drawing 3 times and loosing all our away matches in the 2018/2019 season
Kastina United Appointed Henry Makinwa as a Head coach his first match of the season was against his former employee Abia warriors
Kastina United looked sharp starting from the early stages and was almost rewarded but their effort was ruled out as offside.
Makinwa’s team gained 25 points from a possible 33 points from home and gained 6 points from a possible 33 points away from home.
His team also did a double over Sunshine Stars of Akure defeating Sunshine 2-0 in Katsina and 1-2 at Akure, Breaking a 22-year jinx of winless away run.
His team performance made his team be fearless at home and recording 8 clean sheets 6 from home matches and 2 from away matches, Akwa United and Heartland respectively
His style of play
Henry has really been known for his exemplary attacking tactics and even though we’ve seen some improvements in some of the matches
In Katsina, it’s full attacking prowess with Henry Although playing attacking football makes Katsina united concede less and Henry weapon is a well organized attacking prowess making his team concede only 6 goals at home in the last season.
The only time his team was exposed to conceding twice at home was against Jigawa golden stars
He leaves Katsina United with a *B* mark he could have done more, however, his team is plagued with by injuries and tired legs, but they were able to create more and concede less than they have done during the previous campaign
