Jigawa Golden Stars choose Kaduna for home games

Following the approval of 13 stadia approved by the League Management Company ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League 2020/21 season, Jigawa Golden Stars FC of Dutse have choosen Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna for their home games, Felele247.com.ng understands

A club official disclosed to Felele247.com.ng  disclosed that the reason behind the decision is due to the League Management Company, the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna is among the list of stadiums that were approved last month for league organiser host the 2020/21 season games because the stadium meet the standard of the rules guiding the league.

“After much deliberations, we have decided to play our home games in Kaduna ( Ahmadu Bello Stadium)”

“The decision is to meet up with the League Management Company rules and regulations set out this season because according to what they send to us via the club’s email. Each stadium must have a good standard pitch, a well-sitting space for fans to watch our games because they might inform us that our home games will be live on television”

“Also, the recent digital broadcasting right signed by the League Management Company is also one of the main reason we use to Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

“We did not come up with this decision, we are following the rules guiding the game and we have to follow it” He concluded.

Jigawa Golden Stars played their 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League home games at the prestigious Sani Abacha Stadium before the Nigeria Football Federation and the League Management Company stop the league due to the outbreak of covi19 pandemic.

The giants’ Killers will host Sunshine Stars of Akure in their first match of the 2020/21 NPFL season at home.
