Ibrahim Olawoyin committed future to the flying antelopes

Rangers International of Enugu forward Ibrahim Olawoyin has reportedly renewed his contract with the flying antelope for another season after turning down a move to Europe.

The forward who joined the Enugu based in 2018 from oriental rivals Abia Warriors,disclosed that the reason why he had stay put for another season with the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League champions.

 

“I had to stay back to assist the team, because the coach philosophy and approach really fit my playing style

“I’m happy to be part of the squad and not looking to secure a move to another team in the country.

Olawoyin is one of the players who have impressed for the Flying Antelopes in this season’s Nigeria professional football league and also in the CAF Confederations Cup after joining the coal city giants from bitter rivals Abia

 “Under the present circumstances, I don’t think I can join any other NPFL team apart from Rangers in Nigeria or any foreign club for now,

“I’m in love with the fans, the City, and everything about the club,” he disclosed.

Rangers Internationals were unbeaten in their last five league games and they also occupied the fourth position on the Nigerian professional football league standing, before the season was suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus outbreak.
