Bernard Ovoke plateau United winger says he is in High spirit ahead of there two-legged preliminary round with Simba SC
The Jos side will take on reigning Tanzania Champions Simba SC on Sunday the 29th of November at Jos before travelling to Tanzania a week later
Ahead of the tie, Ovoke Bernard known as Magic 7 says he is hoping for his best as he is in high spirit to face the wekundu wa msimbazi” side
Speaking with Felele247.com.ng in Jos, the former Rivers United and Abia Warriors winger said the squad is in good spirits and will remain focused in qualifying for the group stages of the champions league and reaching the semi-finals of the champions league
“With the level of preparation we’ve had in the past few weeks, I think we can match Simba SC, there’s no doubt they are a good side”
“About 80 percent of their squad are from other African countries, that does not mean that they are better than us, we have a very youthful side, because that the philosophy of our coach”, he hinted.
Plateau United will host Simba SC in the first leg of 2020/21 CAF Champions League preliminary round at their home New Jos International Stadium on Sunday 28/11/2020.
