Captain and talisman of Kano Pillars FC, Rabiu Ali aka Pele10 is full of optimism ahead of the Sai Masu Gida’s CAF Confederation Cup preliminary 2nd leg clash at home to ASC Jaraaf on Saturday.
Despite the pressure of being 3-1 down from the first leg, the iconic captain said he and his colleagues will do everything possible to score the goals that will qualify them to the next round.
He called on the fans to be steadfast and intensify prayers and continue giving them the needed support for their target to become reality.
“We know our fans are not happy with us on what happened in the first leg but they should be patient because in football, you either win, draw or lose, Rabiu said.
The fans favourite then expressed his gratitude to the Kano state Government and the management of the club for the kind of treatment they continued to enjoy and pledged to justify the confidence shown on them in the 2020/21 football season.
The 2nd leg will be played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, on Saturday 5th December 2020
