Players and Officials of Nigerian National League side Vandrezzer Fc will depart Uyo this Friday for their new base in Lagos State. The players who had continued training in Uyo will now move following greenlight on all Camping logistics from the management in Lagos.
The Club weeks ago announced it’s a decision to relocate to Lagos for purely Commercial reasons contrary to widespread stories which attempted to pitch the club against the people of Akwa Ibom state.
The movement to Lagos 9 days to the Commencement of the 2020/2021 NNL Season will thus enable Coach Rafael Everton and his Boys to get acclimatized to their new Home ground (Agege Stadium).
The Clubs Academy will, however, Remain in Uyo and make Use of the Well equipped camp at Shelter Afrique. They Youngsters under the Tutelage of Coach Uwe have since Commenced Preparation to take part in The Nigerian Nationwide League this year.
The lions of Naija will begin their Nigeria second division campaign on Saturday, January 30, 2021, against Delta Force FC at the Jay-Jay Okocha Stadium in Asaba.
The Lions of Naija were drawn in the Southern Conference (Group B1) alongside Shooting Stars of Ibadan, Giant Brillars of Enugu, Calabar Rovers FC of Cross River State, Dynamite FC of Edo State, Ekiti United, Stationery Stores FC of Lagos, GO Round FC of Omoku, Akajobi FC, Nilayo FC of Abeokuta, Nnewi United of Anambra and Match Day 1 opponent, Delta Force.
