On the other hand, Plateau United are gradually getting back to their form this season after the worst start, loosing to Kwara United 2-1 at home on matchday 01 was their first home defeat in many years and even though they aren’t as good as they were two years ago they can still remember good battles against the big boys in the Nigeria Professional Football League and have enough quality players to make it difficult for Nasarawa United.
Nasarawa United are one of the very few big teams still in the NPFL, so they can’t take this one for granted especially with it being a one-off. Anything can happen in 90 minutes.
In a tale as old as time, Plateau United did not have it their own way away from home as Katsina United forced them to a goalless draw in Katsina last weekend, but Plateau United put up a good show in Ozoro as they ran away with a 2-1 victory.
The visit of the table toppers would normally evoke fear into the hearts of most teams this season, but Plateau United will have to make it count as they look forward to claiming the maximum points after 90 minutes, and victory here would see them climb to the top ten for the first time this season since 2019/2020 season.
