ngineer Idris Jibril a football administrator, former vice chairman, kwara FA and a current board member FA has declared his intention to run for Kwara football association chairmanship post.
Engineer, Idris says he has what it takes as a seasoned football administrator, football manager who knows in and out of Nigerian soccer for good 25 years if not more. He says “with my past and present experience as an administrator I have passion for sports development, especially grass root”
“Sincerely speaking our past administrators have fails us In grass root sports development, that is our strength if truly we mean sports business”
“We must go back to the drawing board, which is school sports,
lunch a program like operation catch them young, Sports for all etc”
“I appeal to Nigeria football federation to put sentiment apart for the interest of football development”
“I also challenge our government and sports stakeholders to come to our rescue to
do the needful for the sake of our youth development”
“Let the two parties reach a compromise and settle all dispute with each other to fast track sports development in our society”
“I suggest NFF should build a standard team, to participate in our league and use them as feeders team where players can graduate to the national team, this will help our players to play together for long and stand as encouragement to the clubs, in other to avoid fire brigade approaches”
“I wish Kwara united success, as they resumed from two weeks break, i appeal to authority in charge, to do more in terms of welfare packages, in order to motivate our players and encourage them to do more.
