Niger Tornadoes line-up friendly matches ahead of Lobi Stars clash


Niger Tornadoes Football Club, Minna defeated an amateur team Duza Lions 3-1 ahead of their Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 25 clash against league leaders Lobi Stars on next week Wednesday at home.
The last year’s Aiteo Cup finalists will travel to Lapai to play another warm-up game against Ibrahim Babangida University team at their sports playing ground on Wednesday 11th of July 2018 at the university’s playing ground.
On Friday 13th July 2018, Niger Tornadoes will host a Nigeria Nationwide League division side KK United at the prestigious Bako Kontagora Stadium.

The final warm-up match will be against John Ukata Football Academy in Minna on Saturday 15th July 2018.

Interim technical adviser, Hamza Abara disclosed that the reason behind for the warm-up matches line-up for his lads,” The main reason for this friendly matches is to get the lads back to shape and get ready for the clash against the league leaders Lobi Stars FC”
“It also an avenue for the team to perfect our tactics we’ve during the World cup”
“Apart from hosting Lobi Stars here in Minna, we are also looking forward to the match against Heartland FC which we are taking with all seriousness, because early this season, they ran away with the maximum point” he concluded.

Niger Tornadoes will host current league toppers Lobi Stars in matchday 25 next week Wednesday at the prestigious Bako Kontagora Stadium before travelling to Owerri for matchday 26 against relegation bound Heartland FC on the 22nd of July 2018.

The ikon Allah boys occupy the 6th position in the Nigeria Professional Football League standings with 37 points from 24 games played so far this season.
