Niger Tornadoes midfielder Moses Ugwu has successfully penned a deal with Katsina United ahead of the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League which kick-off next weekend 3rd of November 2019.
Ugwu left the 2019 Aiteo Cup finalist at the end of the 2018/2019 to join the change boys after 19 games, scoring 1 goal for the club.
He was an integral part of the squad for two consecutive seasons under two different coaches, where he was voted Man of the match in four straight matches for the ikon Allah boys.
“Niger Tornadoes gave me a platform to express myself on the field, I didn’t want to expect too much, but it was a great time I had (at Tornadoes) and I hoped more great times would follow (at Katsina United) and that we’d have a lot of success. I just wanted to enjoy the time, he disclosed.
Moses Ugwu joined Niger Tornadoes at the beginning of the 2017/18 season from the non-league side Ijayapi Rocks FC, Abuja.
