Lumubashi giants TP Mazembe has dropped their current coach Mihayo Kazembe to the coaching assistant position and appointed the technical director Dragan Cvetkovic to take charge of the team after loosing their CAF Confederation quarter final match to Raja Casablanca 2-1 on aggregate.
Kazembe has won the league on two consecutive times and under his guidance Mazembe have been on course for a third Linafoot title.
He guided the club to their 2017 CAF Confederation and the following year reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Felele247.com.ng Kazembe has been dropped after Mazembe got eliminated at the Quarter-final stage of the CAFCL and lost only once all campaign.
The club has taken the move to remove Mihayo from the post of head coach as it feels he is not ready to take the club through its ambitions and he will be sent to Europe to further his coaching badges along with Zambian legend Charles Musonda Snr. who has been serving as assistant.
