Katsina United captain Usman Bara’u has committed his future to the team until when Allah says it’s time to move on.
The Malumfashi born midfielder who was the special guest of honour on the maiden edition of Fans/Officials/Players interactive session on ‘Katsina United Fans WhatsApp page’ revealed that he has no intention to leave Katsina United soon.
According to the former Malumfashi United FC star while responding to a question that says
“Usman, are you thinking of leaving Katsina United next season?”
“Actually, I don’t know but what ever Allah recorded is Immutable. Usman said
The versatile and combative midfielder went further to reveal the formation he’s more comfortable with on the pitch of play
“Actually, I really like to play 4-3-3, being a defensive midfielder, 4-3-3 will be more convenient for me because I have four defenders behind me, two midfielders to support me in the middle of the pack and three attackers in my front. The three attackers can score any time, likewise the three midfielders. He posited
“The three midfielders are the link between the defenders and the attackers thereby providing help for the attackers up front when we have the ball and they will also track back to help the back four when we don’t have the ball. I think 4-3-3 is my best formation. Usman admitted.
Usman was one of the gallant players that won promotion ticket to the Nigeria Elite League in 2016 when Katsina United was crowned the Champions of Nigeria National League (NNL).
