The sincere expectation of every home based player is to be presented with the opportunity to be wooed by foreign clubs. Many are working hard to attract foreign clubs both on and off the pitch, while some are being wooed already because of their qualities and individual performance.
Plateau United striker, Ibrahim Mustapha Yuga has become a hot commodity in recent time as many foreign clubs are working hard to get his signature.
The striker’s representative Mr. Ramone Rommie Ashiru has confirmed that his client has received offers from clubs in Europe, Asia and America. Mr Ashiru also maintained that his client decided to stay in NPFL because his coach Abdu Maikaba wants him to finish the season with him.
It has also been reported that the former Elkanimi Warriors and Enyimba FC striker has received offer from an Algerian club side USM Algiers.
But in a recent chat with news men, the Plateau United striker has revealed that a Tunisia club Union Sportive De Tataounine has joined the race to secure his signature. According to him, he stated that if the offer pleases him that he would consider moving to the Tunisia club. “I will leave, I will move and run like mad” . The striker said.
Ibrahim Mustapha scored a brace in the last NPFL match against Kwara united before the league was suspended as a result of the novel Covid 19 pandemic.
