Zamalek SC are reported to make a stunning offer in the region of US$900,000 for the services of Ghanaian striker John Antwi from Pyramids FC.
In a report monitored on Ghana Soccer net, Antwi is the highest scoring foreigner in the history of the Egypt Premier League playing for Ismaily SC, Al Ahly SC and Misr El Makasa since 2012.
The Egyptian Premier League is set to restart on July 25 after clearance was given to clubs early this month to return to training this week.
The Egyptian Premier League was suspended since mid-March due to the coronavirus outbreak. The decision to restart the league, though has been publicly criticised by many clubs.
Pyramids occupy the third position on the table and will be hoping to secure either a Champions League or Confederation Cup spot at the end of the season.
John Antwi holds the enviable record of being the foreigner with the most goals in the Egyptian Top flight having represented the likes of Al Ahly, Zamalek and Ismaily.
He joined Pyramids FC in July 2019 from Misr El Makasa.
