Cameroonian Women Football League will now be known as Guinness Super League after the country signed a sponsorship deal with one of Africa’s biggest beer brand Guinness on Friday, Felele247.com.ng report.
The Guinness brand will take over from the traditional Cameroon Women’s League beginning from the new football season which is set to kick off after the country ministry of health lifted ban on sporting activities due to Covid19 ravaging the world.
Following yesterday’s announcement regarding Guinness as the new sponsor for the Cameroon Women’s Premier league. All the teams will spot Guinness in the front of the kit. If they have a front shirt main sponsor, Guinness will move to the back of the shirt at the bottom.
The new women’s league will have 12 teams to compete for the new Guinness Super League title starting from 2020/21 regular season.
