OROK CAN’T WAIT TO MAKE CAFCL DEBUT
Enyimba FC youngster Gabriel Orok II is positively pulling at the leash ahead of what will be his first ever appearance in the Total CAF Champions League & Confederation Cup on Sunday.
The 19-year-old winger will get his first real sampling of Africa’s premier club competition come Sunday at Ouagadougou against Rahimo, having never managed the great leap with Calabar Rovers having to content himself with contesting the AITEO Cup and NPFL matches in his first year for Enyimba FC.
“The Champions League is the ultimate for any footballer,” boomed the Enyimba wing wizard, who scored two goals two great goals in the just concluded Gov Okezie Ikpeazu Preseason Cup.
“I am looking forward to the atmosphere and the excitement of playing in the CAF Champions League it has always been my dream and I can’t wait to test the action.
Orok joined The People’s Elephant in 2017 and have since won the NPFL with the eight times Nigeria champions and two times Africa champions.
