West African giants ASEC Mimosas have announced the signing of their former top man Zakri Kahire Yannick after from Jordanian Pro League outfit Al-Faisaly Sports Club, Felele247.com.ng understands.
Zakri Krahiré Yannick returns to ASEC 5 years after his departure. A good deal a priori for the Academicians who brings home a talented striker. The native of Gagnoa, aged 30, was trained at AFAD where he evolved until 2014. His talent did not leave indifferent the leaders of the Yellow and Black club who recruited him during the same year.
With the Mimos, Zakri will have completed two good seasons in Ivorian Ligue 1 before landing in South Africa where he signed up with Mamelodi Sundowns on August 26, 2016. After two seasons spent with the Brasilians, the Ivorian took charge of Ajax Cape Town. Also in the championship of the country of the Rainbow, Zakri Krahiré Yannick will evolve in other clubs such as Maritzburg United (2018-2019).
Before returning to the fold this season, the 30-year-old striker took on Naft Al Wasat in Iraq (2019-2020) before settling his bags at Al Faisal of Jordan. It is perhaps a last challenge for Zakri who therefore returns to one of his early clubs, the legendary ASEC Mimosas club.
