Former Lobi Stars Team Manager and former Nigerian International Barnabas Shikaan Imenger who died few weeks ago will be lay to rest this weekend Saturday according to an official of the club, Felele247.com.ng understands
Before his death Imenger Snr was the club Team Manager and also served as player and coach in the course of his football career.
Imenger was part of the Super Eagles in the mid-90s and was part of the team that played at the 1995 FIFA Confederations Cup (King Fahd Cup) in Saudi Arabia. He was the second-youngest member of that team at 19 years.
Barnabas Imienger started his Football profession in Makurdi with HMB FC and moved to BBL Hawks later to be known as Lobi Bank FC and now Lobi Stars, he went on to play for BCC Lions FC Gboko, El-kanemi Warriors FC Maiduguri, he was also a member of the Senior National Football Team, The super Eagles of Nigeria. He also played professional football in Saudi Arabia.
