Heartland FC players receive outstanding salaries
The Imo state government led by Senator Hope Uzodinma on Thursday paid the players of Heartland Fc of Owerri three months outstanding salary arrears.
The Commissioner for Youth & Sports Development, Hon Dan Ogu commended the state governor, his deputy and the entire people of Imo state for the support they are giving to the club fondly called the Naze Millionaires on a regular basis.
The Commissioner then charged the players and technical crew to redouble their efforts and maintain focus for the task ahead of them.
Hon. Ogu maintained that the Shared Prosperity government of governor Hope Uzodinma and management of the club would not relent on its efforts in giving priority to the welfare of the players.
