Serbian outfit Vlasina FC has completed the signing of Egbekai Oliver Okubotien from Basic Maracana FC after the completion of his three-year contract with Nigeria National League side Go Round FC.

The 22-year-old striker signed a season contract with the club after completing his medicals with the Serbian club and he was introduced to the rest of the squad at the clubhouse.

“To arrive at a club like Vlasina FC, is a moment of pride for me. The vision and ambition this club has is for everyone to see but more importantly, it gives me the best platform to grow and progress my career.

I’ve spoken to the coach who has shown a lot of faith in me and to be able to play football the way he envisions it, it’s one of the many things that excites me about joining Vlasina FC,” said Egbekai.

He started his football career with  Basic Maracana FC in 2011 at the age of 15, before signing for Go Round FC four years later, where he scored 13 goals in 20 appearances.
