Ghana 🇬🇭 have reappointed Serbian 🇷🇸 Milovan Rajevac as new Black Stars head coach on a one-year contract.
Rajevac, 67, makes a return to the continent for a second stint in charge of the West African giants 11 years after leaving the nation he led to the quarter-finals at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, a feat that remains a record for Africa at the global showpiece.
The former Algeria, Qatar and Thailand national teams breeder will pocket US$30,000 in monthly wages and can earn an US$300,000 each for guiding the Black Stars to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and winning the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations slated for next year in Cameroon.
He takes charge of the Black Stars following the sacking of CK Akonnor who oversaw the 1-0 defeat at the hands of South Africa on Matchday 2 of the World Cup qualifiers.
