Abdul Maikaba becomes Enugu Rangers head coach

Coach Abdu Maikaba has joined 2016 Nigeria 🇳🇬 Professional Football League side Rangers International FC, Enugu as head coach ahead of the 2021/2022 season.

The former Wikki Tourists put pen to paper on a season contract after his contract expires with Plateau United at the of the 2020/2021 season.

In 2016, he guided Wikki Tourists to fourth on the standings and gained CAF Confederation Cup where they lost in the first round.

The kano born tactician is regarded as one of the sort after coach in the Nigeria domestic league. He penned a deal season deal with Akwa United and won Aiteo Cup in 2017 after beating Niger Tornadoes on penalty at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.

He joined the 2017 Nigeria Champions Plateau United before becoming the head coach of the coal city-based club.
