Ghanaian striker joins Egyptian Super cup winners

Ghanaian 🇬🇭 international striker John Antwi (29) has completed a transfer to the Egyptian 🇪🇬 Super Cup champions Tala’ea El Gaish SC from Pyramids F.C in the Egyptian Premier League.

Antwi is the highest scoring foreign player in the history of the Egyptian top-flight having scored 77 goals in 186 appearance

Antwi has established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in Egyptian football in recent years after spells with Ismaily, Al Ahly, Misr El-Makkasa, and Pyramids FC.

With 77 goals in the Egyptian Premier League, Antwi sits top on the list of all-time foreign top goalscorers; however, he struggled this season with Pyramids as he failed to score a single goal in 16 league games.

The 29 years old Takoradi born forward has painting Northern Africa football league with since moving to Ismaily with 31 goals in 57 appearances.
