KOGI UNITED/CONFLUENCE QUEENS FOOTBALL CLUBS EFFECT NEW CHANGES IN IT’S COACHING CREW
The Management of Kogi United and Confluence queens Football Clubs of Lokoja have appointed New Coaches for the two Clubs.
A Statement by the Chairman of the two state owned clubs Honourable Abdulmalik Isah in Lokoja today said the appointments became imperative so as to ensure a better performance and outing by both clubs in the forthcoming Nigeria National League(NNL) and the Nigeria Women Football League(NWFL) seasons.
Appointed to take charge of Kogi United is Coach Folabi Ojekunle,a seasoned and experienced gaffer who has had stint with some notable clubs in and outside Nigeria.He will be assisted by Coach Chidi Oji while Coach Alao Olaniyi retained his position as Goalkeeper trainer.
Coach Adamu Suleiman (zico) who has been in charge of Confluence queens fc since the departure of Former Coach Whyte Ogbonda has been redeployed to Kogi United feeder team and in his place,Coach Liadi Bashiru takes charge and is to be assisted by Coach Paul Mene.
The Trio of Coaches Adamu Suleiman (Zico),Tanimu Nayashi (Maja) and Goalkeeper trainer Bestman Emmanuel Ossai joins Coaches Taiye Ojo and Mohammed Yusuf to tutor the affairs of the academy team.The New Team Manager of kogi United feeder is Mr Michael Olachene Itodo.The appointments are with immediate effect. The Newly appointed coaches will be unveiled to the public very soon.
