QATAR22: Teslim Balogun stadium to host Super Eagles v CAR match

Confederation of Africa Football, CAF have released the date and for the matchday 3 of the 2022 World Cup qualifier between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and the Wild Beasts of Central Africa Republic, CAR on Thursday will kick-off by 4pm at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.

Nigeria will battle CAR in a double-header Qatar World Cup qualifying race with the the first leg on Thursday in Nigeria while the return leg will hold on Sunday, October 10th in Douala, Cameroon.

The return leg match will also start by 4pm.

The CAR FA opted for Douala in Cameroon to host the games that will involve Nigeria, Liberia and Cape Verde in Group C after CAF expressed displeasure in stadiums in their country not meeting international standard.

Nigeria currently tops Group C with six points from two matches. Liberia are second with 3 points while CAR has a point and are bottom of the log.
