Lobi Stars in Lagos for Otasollo preseason tournament

As the clock ticks and days go by, the pre-season seemed to be speedily coming to an end and the sound of a new season is been remotely heard, though without a commencement date in view from LMC, The New-Look Lobi Stars Football Club Makurdi by intuition are in Lagos to participate in the maiden edition of Ottasolo Pre-season Tournament 2021 to round up Pre-season preparations for 2021/2022 football season.

Lobi Stars will be joined by Seven other NPFL Clubs which includes; Kwara United, Sunshine Stars, MFM, 3SC, Niger Tornadoes, Remo Stars, Abia Warriors, with lower division Smart City and host Ottasolo to complete the list of ten clubs invited for the tournament.

The tournament is billed to kick-off from November, 1 and climax on November, 7 2021. All the games were expected to be played at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos but a late twist necessitated a shift of ground to National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

The draws for the tournament will be held on Sunday October 31, 2021(today) by 6 PM at Havanna Hotel & Suites, Gowon Estate, Egbeda, Lagos State.

Speaking to Lobi Stars Technical Adviser Eddy Lord Dombraye who is new to Nigeria Football terrain as a coach, parading a new look team, The Ukraine based intends to approach the tournament with a dual purpose of doing his final technical assessment of the team preparatory for the commencement of the season, at the same time focused on winning the tournament.

With a New Executive Vice Chairman Mr Tama Aondofa who was appointed in the middle of last season, a New Technical Adviser who is taking his first Coaching job in Nigeria and over 70 % of the players new, Lobi Stars FC no doubt wears entirely a new-look and predominantly made up of young players who are hungry for glory. The camp is in high spirit and the players are ready for the kill.

Matches involving Lobi Stars will be streamed live on face book via the official account ( Lobi Stars Football Club). All the club fans are therefore advised to follow the live streaming. There will also be match previews and reviews before and after every game.
