Sai Musa Gida reappoint Jugunu for another season
Nigeria Professional Football League side Kano Pillars have reassign acting technical adviser coach Ibrahim “Jugunu” Musa as the club chief coach for another season ahead of the 2021/2022 season, Felele247.com understands.
The experienced tactician was reinstated to head the technical crew in an Acting capacity after the resignation of Frenchman, Emmanuel Lionel Soccoia, where he led the Sai Masu Gida to back-to-back victories against Kwara Utd in Kaduna and Wikki Tourists at the Abubakar Tafawa Ɓalewa stadium, Bauchi last season.
In 2019, Jugunu guided the club to their second Nigeria FA Cup (Aiteo Cup) after 68 years after beating 2017 runners up Niger Tornadoes via penalty shootout 5-3 after a goalless in normal time.
He is expected to work with former Niger Tornadoes and current goalkeeper trainer Atuga Ndanusa at the pyramids-based club.
The 2013/14 champions placed 5th on the log with 64 points at the end of 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
