As the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League,Npfl Season is expected to commence soon,clubs are intensifying efforts at fine tuning their Squad.
WIkki Tourists fc on its part departed Bauchi for Kaduna today for a three day friendly games tour.
During the three day sojourn the team is expected to engage some selected teams within and outside the Kaduna capital City.
Team Manager of the club Yakubu Yankari while speaking to Wikki Tourists Media said the purpose of the friendlies is to further prepare the team ahead of the anticipated kick off of the League.
We want to further expose the players to the rigous of what to be expected when the league starts and playing away from Bauchi will be an added advantage Yankari stated.
We hope to come out stronger and fully ready for the League after this trip,he stressed.
The team Manager gave kudos to the Management of the team under its Chairman Balarabe Yusuf Douglas for endorsing the trip.
Though the League Management Company (LMC), is yet to announce a date for the commencement of the league, Speculations are rife that the League may start November ending2021 as clubs and Football fans anxiously waits.
