Wydad Casablanca set to sign Mbenza on permanent bases

Felele247.com have scooped that Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club-WAC (Wydad Casablanca) have activated transfer negotiations with Belgian side Royal Antwerp over permanent transfer of Congo Brazzaville striker Guy Carel Mbenza for $450,000 USD.

On 17 February 2021, Mbenza joined Swiss Challenge League side Stade Lausanne Ouchy until the end of the season.

Mbenza made his international debut in a 2–0 home loss to Senegal, replacing Césaire Gandzé after 87 minutes.

The former Congolese U20 forward joined the Wydad for $160,000 on loan, he is currently playing on loan at the Moroccan giants where he has 7 goals and 2 assists in 10 games.
