AFCON 2021: Sierra Leone Names Final 28 Man Squad For Cameroon 2021

The Head Coach of the Sierra Leone National Football Team John Edward Keister has announced the final 28 man squad for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations finals in Cameroon.

A 40 man provisional squad was earlier submitted by the Leone Star coach on December 20th.

The Squad was reduced to a 28 man squad with the inclusion of former England International Steven Caulker.

The Squad will be captained by skipper Umaru Bangura who also made the final 28 man list.

Others who made the final list are former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Mohammed Medo-Kamara, Kei Kamara, John Kamara and Queens Park Rangers defender Osman Kakay.

Sierra Leone is in Group E Alongside Ivory Coast, Algeria and Equatorial Guinea with an opener against defending champions, Algeria on January 11th 2022.
