Watford strikes again, refuse to release Ismaila Sarr for AFCON
The Federation of Senegalese Football (FSF) has confirmed that English Premier League outfit Watford have refused to release Ismaila Sarr to join the Teranga Lions ahead of the African Cup of Nations that starts in seven days.
Sarr will be the second player that Watford will be refuse to participate in Africa’s most prestigious competition, the club denied Nigerian International Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure to join the Super Eagles of Nigeria after the country interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen included the former Club Brugge into the 28 man squad ahead of the tournament.

The Terranga Lions will start their campaign against Zimbabwe on January 10 at the Bafoussam Omnisport Stadium in Kouekong.
Kouekong Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kouekong, a suburb of Bafoussam, Cameroon. It is used mostly for football matches and it also has athletics facilities. The stadium has seats for 20,000 people. It was built in 2015 and inaugurated on April 30, 2016. It will also host some matches during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
