Gabriel Wassa rejoin native home club

Gabriel Wassa will join Niger Tornadoes in the coming days, after the left back end his contract with 19th placed Makurdi outfit Lobi Stars, Felele247.com understands.

Felele247.com gathered that the former Akwa United defender representative had fruitful discussion with the Ikon Allah Boys management in charge of the club transfer.

Wassa, a native of Minna started his football career with a none league Niger United before making his move to join Niger Tornadoes in 2012.

In 2017, He secured a move to Rivers United for a season long loan and make over 20 appearances for the Port Harcourt outfit.

He joined Akwa United at the beginning of 2018/2019 season, but later make sensational move to Plateau United under Abdul Fagge Maikaba.

He is regarded as of the NPFL left back with fast pace with the ball on the left flag of the pitch.
