Muhammed Baba Ganaru becomes Lobi Stars new head coach

Lobi Stars FC has appoint Muhammed Baba Ganaru as the new head coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League side days after former Nigerian International Dominic Iorfa became the club vice chairman, Felele247.com reports.

Before his appointment has previously coached Kano Pillars, Wiki Tourists and El-kanemi Warriors put pen to paper on Thursday afternoon in Makurdi to take the coaching job a week after the former management of the club terminate Eddy Dombraye contract.

The soft-spoken tactician led Kano Pillars to back-to-back NPFL titles in 2012 and 2013 before joining Wikki Tourists following an underwhelming performance with the Sai Masu Gida in 2012.

Baba Ganaru will have to go into work immediately as Lobi Stars are currently second place bottom of the 2022 Nigeria Professional Football League standings with 15 points from 19 games.
