Nigeria Versus Ghana: FG Declares Half-A-Day Work For Tuesday

In order to encourage civil servants to get prepared for the much-anticipated World Cup playoff match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Black Stars of Ghana, the Federal Government has announced 12 noon as the closing time from offices on Tuesday.

After a 0-0 draw at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi Ghana last Friday, the second leg of the playoff will hold at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Tuesday.

A member of the Logistics Committee and SA to Minister of Sports, Kola Daniel confirmed that offices will close at noon to allow civil servants to get prepared Ahead of the match.

“The Federal Government has disclosed that all offices will close earlier at noon on Tuesday. This Is to allow civil servants to be able to prepare and go to Stadium to cheer Super Eagles to victory.”

He added that the Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of FCT has organised 100 buses to take fans to Stadium for free.

In the winner takes all game, the Kickoff Is scheduled for 7:00 pm (Nigeria time). CAF has also approved full capacity where 60,000 fans are expected to Cheer Super Eagles to victory
