Qatar 2022 African Playoff: Ghana may choose another venue against Nigeria

There are indications that there could a change of venue for the Ghana vs Nigeria World cup playoffs in Cape Coast with the recent pictures of the pitch of the stadium.

The Nigeria Football Federation has filed a petition with recent pictures of the cape coast stadium posted by the Ghana National Sports Authority to the World Football governing body, FIFA.

Ghana needs CAF to approve the Baba Yara Stadium for the Nigeria game in time; if the stadium is not approved, the first leg on 25th March will be played on neutral ground.

FIFA have stated that Ghana may have to choose between Morocco and Benin to host Nigeria in the World Cup 2022 playoff first leg match.

CAF Inspections team will be in Ghana to Inspect the Cape Coast stadium tomorrow.
