*Uzochukwu Ezeobi gets Flying Eagles call up*

Zamfara United talisman Uzochukwu Ezeobi has been included in the 40 man list of invited to Nigeria’s 🇳🇬 U20 National team Flying Eagles released by the technical adviser Ladan Bosso on Monday.

The central defender will team up with the rest of the invited players at the team camp in Abuja on Tuesday.

Uzo is a product of Deluxe Football Academy, he joined Shekarau Babes FC in 2021 before making his sensational move to the Gusau outfit at the beginning of 2021/2022 Nigeria National League season where he has established himself as one of the league’s best defenders.

The invited players will be camped at the Blue Spring Hotel starting from Monday, 18th April 2022.
Seven-time African champions, the Flying Eagles will play in Group B of the WAFU B Championship alongside Ghana and Burkina Faso, with the tournament scheduled for 7th – 20th May in Niamey.

Niger Republic, Cote d’Ivoire, Togo and the Benin Republic will contend in Group A.
