NLO and MTN set to announce partnership

Nigerian Nationwide League One Chairman Mohammed Alkali has hinted Felele247.com that the lewgue announce a partnership with MTN Nigeria in the coming week.

The Nasarawa state Football Association made the disclosure in Bauchi during the highly soaked tension match between rivals Nasarawa United and Plateau United.

He said, both parties met during the kick off of the NPFL/LALIGA U15 in Ikenne and had lengthy discussion on how to strengthen the Nigeria third tier football league technical area for the league development.

“We had a fruitful discussion with MTN on the opening day of the tournament and they were in impressed”

“With almost 400 clubs plying their trade in four division of the league, MTN is interested in working with us because of the huge of players and most especially the clubs in this division of Nigerian domestic football league and also because they believe the untapped hidden talents of youth in Nigeria as whole”

“I assure Nigerians that in view time the Nigerian Nationwide League and MTN will announce the new partnership deal together”, he disclosed.

On the part of match officiating, which is the key to a successful league organization, the chairman disclosed that the NLO and the NFF referee department are closely monitoring the situation, that any loopholes will be treated without compromise.

The new partnership deal is expected to come alive next week as stated by the chairman of Nigerian Nationwide League.
