Doma United Reaffirm its commitment to playing in next season’s NPFL

New entrance into the Nigeria Professional Football League Doma United Chief Executive Officer and the management of the club has disclosed that club will compete in next Nigeria Professional Football League 2022/2023 season, Felele247.com understands.

The Chief Executive Officer Alhaji Sulaiman Umar made the disclosure after the team beat Jigawa Golden Stars 2-0 at the Pantami Stadium “I will like to appreciate the entire good people of Gombe State, its supporters and other stakeholders for their support and courage they liberates towards their recent qualification into the Nigerian elite League.

Speaking on behalf of the club, the CEO Alhaji Suleiman Umar (Mai Doma) thanked the players and the technical crew for their commitment towards achieving their season objective. He also double praises on the various football stakeholders in Gombe State; the Football Association, Security personnel, Red Cross, and many others.

“I want to say a very big thank you to everyone, it was a wonderful journey we are having despite numerous challenges we’ve faced before picking the NPFL ticket, I am so excited right now. Also I would like to appreciate the Gombe State FA, various security personnel, Fans, The red cross, The media and others whom I am not able to mention. Words cannot express how grateful we’re”

Meanwhile, the CEO assured fans and the entire people of Gombe State that Doma United will participate in next season’s NPFL contrary to some unsupported reports in some media outlets.

“Let me clear the thought about this and assured the good supporters of Doma United Football Club that Doma United is not going to sell its NPFL ticket and we’re ready to play in the elite league. We didn’t come this far to stop, we will play in the elite league. People should debunk any other report that is saying a different thing because we don’t know where they’re emanating from. We’re a professional club and I have believe over my players performance so we’ll play in the league.:

This has put to sleep some rumors that Doma United will relinquish its NPFL status to the recently relegated Kano Pillars.

The CEO also show his appreciation on how our general peoples in every nooks and crannies from all angles in Gombe State been excited by winding up their golden teeth to smiles and even holding celebration “Walimah” Just to speed up our happiness.
