I have no plans to contest for third term – Amaju Pinnick

Nigeria Football Federation NFF president Amaju Pinnick has hinted that he would not be contesting for the presidency of the country’s football governing body presidential seat for the third term after his tenure his tenure expires this year, Felele247.com understands.

He made the announcement during the Arise morning programme on Monday in Abuja, where he made it clear that he won’t be contesting for the third term.

The FIFA Council has been going back and forth on his ambition declaring that he would run for the term third.

Last week, the chairman of Delta State Football Association granted an interview in Arusha Tanzania where he disclosed that some influential are mounting pressure on him to contest for third term.

The whole fracas started when the senior national football team The Super Eagles failed to qualify for Qatar 2022 where the Super Eagles lost on away goal rule to arch rivals Ghana Black Stars in Abuja.
